1. Who we are

VIINO TECH is an independent Swedish technology brand, operated by Michael Löfqvist, Annelundsgatan 18 H, 941 36 Piteå, Sweden. VIINO TECH is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website and the MacroGuide AI application. You can reach us at info@viinotech.com or via the contact form.

2. What we collect and why

Contact form: when you contact us we process your name, email address, subject, message, language and submission time in order to handle and respond to your enquiry (legal basis: legitimate interest). A hashed network identifier is used to limit spam and abuse. Messages are stored securely in our cloud database and are never displayed publicly.

MacroGuide AI account: if you create an account we process your email address for authentication, and the tracking data you choose to log (meals, goals, water, weight and progress) so it can be synchronised across your devices (legal basis: performance of the service you request). Without an account, data is stored only in your browser.

AI photo analysis: photos you choose to scan are sent to an AI service for analysis and are used solely to give you feedback. Do not upload photos of other people or sensitive information.

Local preferences: the website saves your language choice in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

3. Who processes your data

We use carefully selected service providers to operate the service: cloud hosting and database, email delivery, and AI analysis. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and may involve transfers outside the EU/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are used.

4. How long we keep data

Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up our dialogue, then deleted. Account and tracking data are kept while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Hashed spam-prevention identifiers are kept for up to 12 months.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@viinotech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

6. Security and changes

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. We may update this policy; the latest version is always published on this page with its revision date.
